This exceptional rum is the result of a meticulous blending of Plantation Rum’s oldest reserves. Carefully chosen rums, which have been aged in the tropical climate of Barbados for many years, are artfully mixed by our cellar master at Chateau de Bonbonnet. They are then subjected to additional maturation in French oak barrels for an extra 2-10 years. This dual aging process imparts an exceptionally smooth and creamy taste to the rum.

The rum displays a deep mahogany hue. Plantation XO 20th Anniversary offers an aromatic profile featuring exotic scents of sugarcane, oaky vanilla, and toasted coconut. These notes are complemented by more intricate fragrances of cocoa, candied orange, and a hint of cigar box.

You can enjoy Plantation XO on its own for a truly indulgent experience, or try it as a lavish beverage when mixed with fresh coconut water – either as a long drink or even poured over an ice cube for a refreshing treat.

• Distillation : Twin Column and Pot Still (Gregg’s Farm)

• Tropical ageing : 8 -15 years. The rums are chosen for their struture with aromatic characteristics suited for intensive oak ageing.

• Continental ageing : 2-10 years. A blend of very old rums, finished in many different types of casks ranging from new white oak to Bourbon casks as well as Ferrand casks, each with different level of toasting.

• Volatile Substances : 210 g/hL AA

• Dosage : 20 g/L

• Cane sugar caramel E150a (% vol) : between 0% and 0.1%
