Returns and cancellations

RETURNS POLICY

We strive for your complete satisfaction with your order, aiming to ensure that all products supplied to our customers arrive in impeccable condition. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase, excluding perishable, personalized, or non-returnable items.

If you receive your order and are dissatisfied with any products, we are happy to provide a refund or exchange, provided you notify us within 14 days of the order delivery date. However, reimbursement for return shipping costs will only occur if items were delivered in error or if they were damaged or defective.

Returned products must be in good condition and the original packaging. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned products.

Please note that not all items sold by Whiskeymarrt are new, and some may have been acquired through auctions. Product images on the website are for illustrative purposes and may not precisely represent the stocked item, especially for antique or discontinued products that may not be in perfect condition. Additionally, batch numbers, vintages, and bottling dates may change, and we will make efforts to inform you of such changes before shipping.

In cases of faulty or damaged deliveries, you have a 30-day right to reject, starting from the order date (for perishable products, this is limited to the best before date if sooner). Refer to the Damaged and Wrong Goods section for guidance on what to do in such instances.

You are responsible for the cost of returning products to us unless the items being returned were delivered in error or the items were damaged or defective. You are also responsible for insuring all returns as we might claim against you should damages be sustained.

CANCELLATIONS

All non-business customers (meaning those customers not acquiring products wholly or partially for business purposes) possess the right to cancel a contract (‘Contract’) for the purchase of merchandise (‘Products’) from Whiskeymarrt or withdraw their offer to purchase the Product(s), if applicable, within fourteen days from the date of placing the order (‘The Cancellation Period’), unless the order includes personalized products or items specified as non-returnable.

To initiate the cancellation of your order, you must provide written notice before the expiration of the cancellation period. If you have already received the order, you should return the product(s) to Whiskeymarrt. Unless the items being returned were delivered in error, damaged, or defective, you will be responsible for the full cost of returning the product(s) and liable for any damage to the product(s) until Whiskeymarrt acknowledges receipt of the products. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that the product(s) are adequately insured. You bear a legal responsibility to retain possession of the product(s) and exercise reasonable care until returning them to Whiskeymarrt. If the product(s) exhibit signs of damage or tampering, we may seek compensation from you. Whiskeymarrt reserves the right to arrange for the collection of the product(s) at your expense if you have not returned the product(s) within 30 days of your cancellation notice.

EXCHANGES & RETURNS

We are happy to exchange product(s) for whatever reason as long as we are informed of your intention to return the product(s) within seven working days of the goods being delivered and where you accept the cost of returning the item and insurance where appropriate. A full refund will only be given where the goods are received in the same condition as when they were shipped by us.

Please note that if you are exchanging a product that is more than the value of the replacement product, we will refund the difference via your original payment method.

If you are exchanging a product that is less than the value of the replacement product, additional payment will be required.

Upon exchanging a product, you will be liable to pay a new shipping and handling charge. Please retain your original invoice as this may be asked for as proof of purchase. We will bill your credit card for the new merchandise and process your credit for returned merchandise as soon as we receive it.
