Benriach The Forty 40 Year Old

As the most long-standing offering in Benriach’s collection, this release draws inspiration from an era when peated malt from Speyside was uncommon. Despite this, Benriach opted to distill limited quantities of peated spirit, utilizing peat sourced from the Highlands.

This remarkable single malt has undergone a four-decade maturation process in a blend of ex-bourbon and ex-port casks. The nose reveals enticing aromas of honey and grapefruit, followed by hints of peach and plum. The palate unfolds with notes of dark chocolate, strawberries, and charred oak.
